WHATSAPP BOUGHT BY FACEBOOK FOR $19B


In its bid to stand tall as the messaging gladiator, Mark and His famous social networking company +Facebook has completed the buy-over of the reigning king of instant messaging, +WhatsApp 
Facebook acquired these guys for the record-breaking $19 billion! Of that sum, $16 billion will come in cash and shares, and an addition $3 billion in restricted stock.
One would wonder why +WhatsApp is worth that much so here's the maths: WhatsApp has 450 million users (compared to Facebook Messenger’s approximately 53 million), while adding 1 million new users per day. Even more impressive, 70% of WhatsApp users are active every day - You probably will be hitting app just after reading this post.  that's what Facebook saw.

No, the name will not change from +WhatsApp to WhatsBook and whatever name you are anticipating as the deal is similar to that of +Instagram
