Damiete Charles-Granville is a Nigerian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned MBGN World 2012 during the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2012 pageant 

Competing as Miss Rivers, Damiete placed in 1st runner-up at MGBN 2012 title at the grand finale held at the Best Western Hotel in Benin City, Edo State on Saturday 5 May 2012.

She has been chosen to rep Naija in the Beach Fashion Challenge and Top model fashion show which takes place on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium, Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China.

The Top Model catwalk show which is one of the smaller events of the Miss World pageant, fields 46 other contestants.

Organizers say that the lucky participants will be adorned in garments by Chinese luxury cashmere label, ERDOS 1436. The collection and curation of the show has been overseen by fashion authority and Creative Director of the brand, Graeme Black.

She's right now in China with other African sweet hearts from South Africa, Gabon et cetera. As my default sentiment, I wish her all the best.
